Lucy returns to ENO this winter for Tom Morris’ new production of THE DEATH OF KLINGHOFFER in the role of the Swiss Grandmother, conducted by Baldur Brönnimann.  She sang all three “witness” roles for Opera Theatre of St Louis in the summer of 2011 - so second new production of this opera in six months!

Lucy looks forward to working again with Netia Jones in 2012 on Oliver Knussen’s opera HIGGLETY PIGGLETY POP in the title role of Jennie, the Sealyham terrier who leaves her home in search of her heart’s desire.  Performances at The Aldeburgh Festival and The Barbican, London in a double bill with WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE.  Ryan Wigglesworth, conducting the Britten Sinfonia.

Stephen Barber  ASTRYL VINYL
I’m so proud of my friend, the outrageously talented composer Stephen Barber and his new CD with Navona Records.  Steve and I searched for a poem about marbles and Laura Lush’s words came rolling towards us - we searched no further.
I am incredibly honoured to be included on this project. Here’s to Steve: his wonderment and artistry!
